Maryel Cerio

Mariel is a Visual Designer focused on creating custom assets and illustrations that enhance user interfaces. She works with the team at Frost, a UI design agency building screen experiences used by millions of people. She is currently involved in designing digital products that are intuitive, visually engaging, and user-centered. Her work is rooted in collaboration and a strong attention to detail. Mariel’s design journey elevated at Startup Weekend, where she found the confidence to step into the creative tech space. Since then, she has volunteered in multiple events—supporting teams and helping ideas take visual form through design.

Karl De La Cruz

Karl is a Senior UX Designer with years of experience designing tech products for various industries, including fitness, printers, privacy, education, and employee communication.

His skills are in the end-to-end UX Design process, while also understanding the business and technology side of the Product Development Process.

He has been described by peers and managers as collaborative and adept.

He is currently leading Cebu’s UX Community – CebUXD, facilitating Design Workshops, and learning new technologies such as No-Code and Gen AI.

President of the ICT Council of Bohol Province, where he leads initiatives to advance digital innovation and tech-driven growth in the Province. Founder of Sport Maniac, a dynamic platform that connects athletes, organizers, and fans through sports events. As the proprietor of Bagol Labs, a software development agency, he builds tech solutions for businesses and communities.

Joseph Mangmang

From Bartender to Software developer, Joseph Mangmang is a self-taught developer with a passion for exploring new things.

Currently, he is the Senior Mobile Developer in BlendIT, a high-quality software development and web design services team located in Bohol and Cebu.

He developed an app called PreText SMS and Pin Guard App.

Chylene Pacatang-Saraspe

Chylene is a seasoned software engineer with over 16 years of experience in web application development and software testing. As the Founder of Zionlab IT Consultancy, Lead Software Engineer, and Product Owner at yieldHUB Ltd., she is known for delivering high-quality solutions and fostering innovation. A certified Fundamental Engineer through Philippine National IT Standards (PhilNITS), she excels in full-stack development and agile methodologies.

Chylene is also passionate about mentoring, having cultivated a team of interns to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Driven by a commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic, she continues to push boundaries at Zionlab ITC while inspiring the next generation of tech leaders.

14+ years of working with technology startups in US, UK, and AU most of the time building them from the ground up.

Extensive experience in traditional brick and mortar busineses from food, real-estate, and creative services.

The founder of Bohol entrepreneurs anonymous which serves as the support group of local entrepreneurs in Bohol.

The current president of the Tagbilaran City Night Food Park Association, which helps small local food entrepreneurs via collaborative marketing efforts in the space provided by the local government.

Judy Ann Cimafranca

With a strong background in project management, client relations, and business development, Judy drives innovation and entrepreneurship as a Project Development Officer at Bohol Island State University’s Technology Business Incubator (TBI). She manages daily operations, implements strategic initiatives, and collaborates with key stakeholders to strengthen Bohol’s startup and innovation ecosystem.

Passionate about technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, Judy actively mentors and supports startups, helping them turn ideas into viable businesses. Her expertise spans financial management, strategic planning, and community engagement—all geared toward building a more innovative and sustainable future.

Zoila is the Operations Manager at Seaview Hills Luxury Apartments and Rooms, co-owner of Vapers Hub, and a former President of JCI.
